Dr. Bijoy Barua has just published a chapter in the book published by Zedbooks.com from London. In his chapter, Dr. Barua has discussed issues related to Tidal River Management practices in Southwestern part of Bangladesh where Uttaran – an NGO has been working on mobilizing rural marginalized landless people for sustainable living.
Dr. Muntaha Rakib attended the Dissemination workshop in Bharatpur, Nepal

Dr. Muntaha Rakib, the Senior Fellow of the Asian Center for Development and Associate Professor of Economics, SUST, attended the final dissemination workshop of the research on Climate Resilient Cities in Bharatpur, Nepal. She presented the findings of her research in the Sylhet City Corporation and the success in terms of promoting effective waste separation strategy in Sylhet using RCT. She was later interviewed by local media to explain the findings for the general public.

Philip Kotler’s new book Asian Competitors – Marketing for Competitiveness in the Age of Digital Consumers has incorporated two cases of Bangladeshi IT companies. The cases were written by Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar and Dr. A.K. Enamul Haque. The book has been published from Singapore by World Scientific and has been released in Kuala Lumpur on March 23, 2019, at the AMF biannual meeting. Hermawan Kartajaya and Hooi Den Huan also co-authored the book.
