Resource Person: Dr. A.K. Enamul Haque

This is a special academic program for students of DBA/Ph.D. in Business and Economics.  The objective of the program is to develop the essential writing skills for students to develop a concept note.  It is an 8-day long with 24 Hours of contact time with participants to ensure that at the end of the program students have a research concept note properly written with appropriate methods in it.  

Students participating in this program are expected to begin their workshop with a presentation of their existing research proposal, receive comments from the resource person and work on it during the workshop to reorganize the concept note into a research proposal to pursue their research.  The process will let them learn about a) how to develop a good concept note, b) how to develop the right research question, c) how to develop the analytical logic for the research, d) how to choose tools for data analysis; e) how to do the literature review, f) how to cite works and avoid plagiarism, and g) how to use reference styles during research publications.  

This is a special course for DBA Students of the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University.  Registration into the course is controlled by IBA and only DBA students are allowed to register in this course.

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BRING THEIR LAPTOP FOR WORK DURING THE WRITESHOP.
