Asian Center for Development (ACD) is established to promote better understanding and relations among the people, policy makers, researchers and academics in order to a ensure sustainable development path for Asia. Established in 2012, the Center is an independent organization established with generous support from individuals, organizations, academics, researchers and corporations. Individuals, organizations and universities around the world, also working on the same cause, may become members of the center.

With growing prominence of Asia in the global economy, the issue of making Asia sustainable will remain a major challenge.  The Center works with universities, research organizations and others to generate and exchange ideas for making Asia follow the path of sustainable development.

The center has office locations at Room 342, East West University (A/2 Jahirul Islam Avenue, Aftabnagar, Dhaka 1212), and a permanent office at the Haque Heritage, House 5 (5th floor), Lane 4, Arambagh, Sylhet 3100, Bangladesh.
